Seahaven FM Community Licence Application Latest

Our Community Licence application has now been submitted to Ofcom. Ofcom have replied with the list approximate time table of when we, and the other 47 applications from the South East of England, can anticipate a decision. Seahaven FM is about half way down the list, the "approximate" date of decision is June 2009.

Seahaven FM

Seahaven FM is a Community Radio Station based in Seaford in East Sussex and broadcasting to the area known locally as Seahaven: Seaford, Newhaven and Peacehaven and, of course, the surrounding areas.  All programmes are produced in our Seaford studio, which is in Saxon Lane in Seaford's town centre.

Presenter and Production Training Courses

Interested in learning more about how to produce, present and prepare programmes for radio?  Seahaven FM is running a series of courses starting in April that will show you how to prepare, plan and present radio programmes. The course will be valuable if you would like to join the team of presenters at Seahaven FM or if you would like to prepare a demo to submit to other radio stations.
